Affiliate programs are the best way for a publisher to make more sales than he ever dreamed of. As a publisher you can have people doing all of the selling for you. All you have to do is come up with a credible product. It could be an e-book, tele-seminar, or just a recording of you talking about something. The best products to sell with an affiliate program are information products. These products can be delivered instantly once purchased. The buyer will just need to download the file after completing the transaction. I have found Clickbank to be the best site to launch an affiliate program.
Once you have a product you will need to create an informative website containing just a few pages. This should be a sales page, a thank you page, and an affiliates page. The sales page will do the selling for you. Be sure not to skimp on the quality of the sales letter. The thank you page will deliver the product once the transaction has been completed. The affiliate page will let people know how they can sign up for your affiliate program. You should also have information on this page to help current affiliates promote your products such as keywords to bid on for pay per click advertising.
Once you have all of these things in place you will need to submit your product for approval at Clickbank. Once approved you will need to pay the $49 dollar activation fee. Be sure to follow all of the guidelines when setting up your sales and thank you pages. Now you have an affiliate program ready to promote.
Promote your affiliate program in every way possible . Use pay per click, articles, forum announcements, and word of mouth. You will need to do everything you can to get it off the ground. Once you have recruited some affiliates, you will be able to focus more on what makes your product sell. Try different tactics on the sales page to try to maximize your sales. Remember that you must promote your affiliate program every day in every way possible.

Making Money From Clickbank – The One Simple 'Trick'

What I’m going to show you might not be anything new but it sure is easy to do and will make you money from Clickbank.
I’m assuming you’ve already researched a niche and found a product or products to promote. If you haven’t already done so, please do that. Once you’ve done that, create a ‘landing page’ that pre-sells the product.
This is a must-do. In this page (and you should keep it short), bring out the 3 biggest benefit of the product and create an opt-in form. If you’re selling a dog training product you could list out points like
Train your dog up to 10 new tricks per day using just 5 minutes with this ‘secret’ obedience model
Potty training that is guaranteed to work! No more stinky and stained furniture!
Your friends will wonder in amazement and scratch their heads wondering how you managed to train your dog to such obedience (not to mention the tricks) in just a matter of days!
Of course, theses are just a few examples of what you could include in your landing page. I’m sure you can come up with many other better examples. Remember to include an opt-in box that re-directs them to the sales page once they opted in.
This is the crux of the ‘secret’. Start pumping out articles and submit it to as many article directories. I would say write an article a day and mass submit it so it works out to around 30 articles a month. Include a link to your landing page in the author resource area.
Keep this up and you’ll have a steady stream of traffic and sales coming in. Now this is where the fun begins, set your articles to be displayed to them on your auto-responder. You can promote other dog training related products at the end of each article.
There’s no additional work, just load the articles you’ve already written into the auto responder and your prospects will be exposed to your quality content and offers over and over again!
This really is an easy way to build a super targeted list and get a stead flow of sales from Clickbank!
